An unrestricted gift, because of its flexibility, allows the Bleed Purple Foundation to meet the unpredictable and constantly changing health needs of the future. However, many donors prefer their contribution to be designated for a specific purpose. The Bleed Purple Foundation allows designated giving for gifts of at least $10,000.
Major areas of consideration include:
• Scholarship Program: Providing educational scholarships to college students diagnosed with cancer.
• Medical Bill Relief Program: Providing grants to college students with cancer to help pay for their medical expenses.
• Research Program: Providing grants to cancer research and support organizations or to help create the first Bleed Purple Cancer Research and Support Center.
• The Daniel Burkett III Memorial Scholarship: Five educational scholarships awarded to outstanding members of Greek organizations each year.
