Miss Greek/Delta Queen Pageant
Many chapters such as Gamma Mu at the University of Washington have found this fundraiser to be one of the most successful and entertaining fundraisers on their campus. Although the formation of such an event can be somewhat of a difficult task, the end results of a pageant can provide several thousands of dollars of needed support to the chosen philanthropy. If you are interested in creating a Miss Greek Philanthropy at your school, please contact Brayden Jessen, Miss Greek Chair Gamma Mu, at Brayden@dreamwaydesigns.com or visit his website at www.missgreek.com.
Delt Dodgeball
An easy and enjoyable event, dodgeball provides opportunities for both male and female students to participate in a philanthropy project. Although this event does not provide the high monetary returns of a Miss Greek Pageant, dodgeball can easily become a tradition on your campus to benefit your chosen charity for years to come.
Mailing Campaign
Mailing campaigns consist of gathering addresses of parents, alumni, friends, and family and organizing a day for your chapter to send out several hundred even thousands of solicitation letters to help support your fundraising efforts. A typical mailing campaign is usually very inexpensive and depending on the amount of alumni and parent involvement, your chapter could see high returns.
If you have more fundraising ideas that have been successful on your campus, please do not hesitate to submit them to Scott Chesrown at schesrown@bleedpurple.org.
100% of all the proceeds from the sales of all merchandise will go towards helping cancer victims and supporting cancer research.
